Understand the pathway
Vocational training combines learning and work. Studienkolleg may prepare students for university. The right route depends on your child’s educational background and goals.
For parents
A big step. Prepared together.
When your child plans to study or train in Germany, you need clear information and someone you can turn to with questions.
Discuss the budget
Ask about agency fees, external costs, payment dates and living expenses. Confirm which services are included.
Know your contacts
Agree who at Nusa Bridge is responsible, which contact channels to use and how to discuss questions or difficulties.
How can I stay informed?
A joint consultation can clarify the process and next steps. Agree with your child and the team which information may be shared.
Can I see my child’s documents and messages?
A parent contact does not automatically receive access to private documents or chats. Sharing specific information is expressly agreed with the person concerned and the team.
What if there are delays or a rejection?
Discuss alternatives, new deadlines and the further scope of support. We cannot guarantee a positive decision from an institution or authority.
What support is available after arrival?
Agree in advance whether accommodation, language courses or organisational support are included. A portal is not an emergency service.
